King Sombra is growing on me... I really didn't like how he was just a plot device and had no real explanation and back story, but whatever. He WAS extremely scary to me though. The fact how he was just waiting for Cadance's magic to fail added a lot of tension to the episode and it was great.

I've come to like Sombra a lot. He really represented fear. Always their, always lurking, hiding in the dark shadows of ones mind. biding it's time until the right moment to strike. And no matter how hard to try to fight it, to kill it, fear will always be with you. King Sombra will always be with you!

The fact he was looming over the Candance's shield, waiting for one slight crack to get in is Nightmare Fuel itself....

This captures the suspense of episodes quite well. Chrysalis used an army to break Shining Armor's barrier, while Sombra wore down Cadence's barrier by himself. I'm sure she felt each attempt Sombra made to get through the shield. I respect a patient, yet overwhelming villain.
May I use this for a Magic the Gathering card to represent Sombra?

Though he was menacing and ominous enough, there was a serious lack of character and backstory. It WAS, however, a well paced plot line - I cringed at the season 2 finale. And he wasn't defeated by neither a drawn-out monologue, his own hubris, nor overestimating his power source. He went down honest-to-God fighting. In any rate this gives the fandom a lot to chew for awhile so I'm happy. May King Sombra live out his after life battling his nemisis "Articulate Speech" as you keep being awesome! Cheers!

Sombra was a bit of a let down for me. I thought the episodes were quite good but how can you have a villian with no drive/purpose? He is very mysterious though, would love some headcanon backstories on him. (saying that I feel like the only person who dislikes chrysalis, I thought she was a bit lame...)

I like how you drew the magic sphere and gave Sombra a personality (something he lacked in the actual show).
